CASE-K MOONSHINE is a legendary producer whose influence on Japanese rock is undeniable. He played a pivotal role in shaping the genre, and it would be impossible to discuss Japanese rock without mentioning him. In the 80s and 90s, he produced numerous stars and oversaw the production of renowned artists such as LOUDNESS, BOØWY, ZIGGY, LINDBERG, Himuro Kyosuke, Tamura Naomi, and many others. Even into the 2000s, his name remained etched in the minds of fans as one of the key figures in the X JAPAN revival project.

However, around 2010, he began to suffer from frequentepisodes of sudden hearing loss due to the aftereffects ofnearly 40 years in the music industry. By 2015, his hearinghad deteriorated to the point where he could no longercontinue producing music. It was during this time that heturned to his art, a passion he had kept hidden for nearly 40years. In 2018, CASE-K MOONSHINE officially declaredhimself a painter and began his artistic journey under hiscurrent name.

"CASE-K MOONSHINE" こと月光恵亮は、音楽業界、界隈から「月光抜きには日本のロックは語れない」と言わしめる伝説の音楽プロデューサー。

特に80年代から90年代にかけては、LOUDNESS, BOOWY, ZIGGY, LINDBERG, 氷室京介, 田村直美といった錚々たるスターを生み出してきた。
また2000年代に入ってもX JAPAN復活プロジェクトの中心的立役者の1人として、多くの人々の脳裏にその名を刻んだ。

しかし、2010年辺りから40年余りの長い音楽生活の影響により突発性難聴が頻繁に起こり始め、2015年には音楽制作を続けるのが困難なレベルにまで聴覚が悪化し、その頃を境に長い間封印していたアート制作活動を再開する。

そして2018年公式に画家宣言をし、現在のCASE-K MOONSHINE名義での活動を始めた。

・ 2020年2月には1回目の個展を中目黒WAVEホテルで開催。

・ 2020年11月には２回目を新大久保CENDIVERSITYホテルにて開催。

・ 2021年7月に初めての渋谷PARCOで「ROCK’n ROLL CIRCUS」と題された個展を開催。

・ 2022年1月に第二回目の渋谷PARCOで「ROCK’n ROLL CIRCUS２」と題し開催。

・ 現在は、NFTアートの分野に参入し2022年12月10日には5555枚のNFT作品をソルドアウトさせ注目を集めている。

・ 2023年3月に第3回目の渋谷PARCOで「ROCK’n ROLL CIRCUS 3」と題し開催。

・ 2023年6月にULTRA SUPER NEWGALLERY で「LA RÉSISTANCE」と題し開催。

・ 2024年09月にTHE HARMONYSTで「SUPERNOVA」と題し開催。
・ 2025年05月にSOMSOC GALLERYで「KOSMIC FORCE」と題し開催。
